In the story “Matched” by Allie Condie, it is about a seventeen-year old girl named Cassia .She lives in a town where supervised officers/officials decide who you must love, where you will work, and when you will die. One night, she goes to a matching banquet where she will get matched(to the boy she will have to love). It turns out it is her best friend, Xander. Perfect! She thought. But then dramatically that moment ended. The next morning, when she put a work card called a microcard in, somebody else came up. It was a boy she used to know, that was just a friend. Cassia was very upset. Did they make a mistake? She thought. When she met with her official, she said that it was all a misunderstanding, and things would go back to normal .But when she sees the boy that accidentally came up on the screen named Ky, she starts hanging out with him, and they eventually fall in love. But cassia still loved Xander too. Who would she choose? Read the rest of the book to find out! I would rate this a 5/5 star book!
My favorite part was when Cassia finds out on how you die….which is they poison your food before you go to sleep/die.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes a bit of mystery, some romance, and misunderstandings.

In the book the tail of Emily windsnap it is about a girl named Emily who turns out to be a mermaid because of her fathers side. On a Saturday afternoon, Emily was listening to her moms and cousins conversation when she overheard that her father was a merman and got locked up by the king of the sea forever because he told his wife he was a merman! Read the rest of the book to find out what happens next!
My favorite character is Emily’s mermaid friend because Emily’s friend helps her try to find her father and save him.
My favorite part is when she finds out who is the king of the sea is because she would never be able to realise it was this person!

This book is about a child from a poor family that learns the sport basketball and becomes one of the best players in th N.B.A this childs name was Michael Jordan, MJ was born in North Carolina he was from a poor family so his life was hard. He leard basketball from his father than when he got to high school he made the cut for the basketball team. the couches like him a lot and the more he praticed the better he got some days he would cut classes and pratice than when his father found out he got in big trouble so he stoped cutting. During one of his basketball games collage couches watched and soon a lot of collages started to inerveiw him or call his house. Soon he chose North Cairolina the team that he was on was the tar heels. During the season Jordan had a slump his jump shot was failing and his layup but soon he got out of his slump and got better and better than the N.B.A draft came and MJ got drafted to to the Chiago Bulls the Bulls where a good team. Michael had to work his way up to the first line witch means he plays in the game first soon he got there and when that came the bulls started to win. Than finaly he got to the championship to play the best team in the leage the L.A. Lakers the lakers had Majic Johnson and james worthy also Kareem abbdul jabbar but the bulls had MJ and pipion when they faced the game was very seious first the lakers led than the bulls took it to the hole and won nba champs. Than time passed and MJs dad went to new jersy to meat some friends for a couple days and soon days became weeks and people tried to search and one day the jordans got a call saying that they found MJs dads body and his car fallen off a cliff and he was murdered and to teenage boys got arested for the death of mjs dad. Than in a press comfance mj announced that he was retireing from basketball. Than a year passed and mj tried out for a minerleage baseball team he played for a little while than he was offered a conttract to rejoin the bulls and he took it he started from the bottom and worked his way to the top again. Than mj played for a couple years and retaired again because he wanted to speed time with his family years passed and mj wanted to play again but the team that he went to was the wizards and the wizards were tairable but mj still played for them they won a games they lost games but the wizards only got a little better than michael retaired for his last time. Soon a couple years passed and mj and his wife divorsed. And mjs son was trying to follow in his foot steps and mj was offered to own some of the bobcats and he did. Now if you ask any body who is Michael Jordan they would probibly say you should know.
My opinion of this book is i would give it five stars
Neil Armstrong Is My Uncle and Other Lies That Muscle Man Mcginty Told Me by Nan Marino 154 pgs.

In this novel a girl named Tamara has a best friend in foster care that moves away. In her place at the foster home is this boy that Tamara doesn’t like because he is always lying and only she can tell that he is. One day he makes a very big mistake, he bragged that he can beat the entire block in kickball. Around their block kickball is a game they play a lot and take seriously. When they’re beating him really bad Tamara’s tea, says that they are getting bored and don’t want to play anymore and so Muscle Man wins. He won because Tamara’s team basically forfeited so he won. Tamara got grounded and is all alone on the night of the moonwalk. But you’ll have to read the book to see what happens. My favorite part was when Muscle Man challeged the block to a kickball game because Tamara thought that it could finally be her chance to show them that he is a liar. I would reccomend this book to anyone that enjoys a real page turning novel.
The BFG by: Ronald Dahl (203 pages)

The BFG is about a girl named Sophie who lived in a all girl orphanage. One night, when every body else was asleep, Sophie went up to the window. What she saw could only be one thing. A giant was in the town. Before she knew it, she was swept off her feet and in a yellow waste land with blue rocks. Sophie and the giant went in to a cave and the giant introduced himself as the BFG (big friendly giant). The BFG explained that every night, the nine other giants that live in giant country gallop off every night to guzzle up humans. The BFG had marvelously large ears, and as he said to Sophie, he can hear the tiniest things very loud. The thing that stunned Sophie the most is that the BFG blows dreams into kid’s windows at night so they can dream what ever dream the BFG gives them. After all that talking, the BFG was hungry. So then, Sophie was introduced to snozzcumbers. the most disgusting food on the planet, but the BFG has to eat them because he thinks that eating humans is wrong. just when Sophie started to get comfortable with the giant, the blood bottler came to a visit. this was a gruesome giant that heard the BFG talking to something or somebody. to get him to leave, the BFG tried to get him to eat some of the snozzcumbers but Sophie was hiding in there! when the blood bottler bit in to it, he spat it out and Sophie came with it! so, the blood bottler left. in the giant’s cave, there were thousands of bottles of dreams and Sophie asked how he got them. so the journey to dream country began. while there, they got a bad dream and a good dream. on the way back, since the BFG hated the blood bottler so much, he blew the bad dream to him! it was a funny sight to watch him freak out because of the bad dream. once again the nine other giants galloped off to eat more kids. but this time, Sophie had a plan to stop them. she asked the BFG to mix up a combination of dreams so they can blow it in to the queen of england’s room so she will have a dream about giants coming to eat little kids and a girl named sophie will tell her about a friendly giant that will stop the mean giants from eating any more little kids. when the queen woke up,she talked to Sophie and the queen, Sophie, and the BFG ate breakfast in the ballroom so the BFG could stand up because the ballroom had a tall ceiling. After the breakfast, they got ready to never have kids eaten again.
My favorite part in this book was when Sophie and the BFG were eating breakfast with the Queen. This was my favorite part because it was funny how the foot men had to keep bringing out more and more food for the BFG because he kept eating every thing on the plate in one bite!
I would recommend this book to people who liked other Ronald Dahl books, like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and people who like fantasy stories.
Sledding With My Bro

By: Dj R.. Sledding With My Bro is about Dj and his brother waking up and going outside in the snow. They had a snowball fight and went sledding, while sledding Dj brother flipped over and Dj kept hitting the fence. They both were laughing and love snow days.
My Tenth Birthday

By: Micheal G.. My Tenth Birthday is about Mike going to his lacrosse tournament on his birthday, while mike is playing his third game somebody hits mike really hard. The trainer came running over and turned out that Mike went to the hospital. He later found out he had a concussion.
Swindle by Gordon Korman (252pg)

When Griffin Bing decides to have a sleepover at a spooky banded house, nobody shows up because there’s no TV, except his best friend Ben Slovak. But when everything is going bad they find a VERY good and RARE baseball card and to top it off it was BABE RUTH. I mean were talking millions of dollars but then it got bad again when “Swindle” tricks him in to giving the card to him so he gives millions of dollars away! Now the only way to get the card back he must obviously get some more friends and come up with a plan. And this Swindle guy is smart because he puts out a scary guard dog this high tech thing to make them never find him in his genius hiding place and there pretty young so it is pretty hard for them to get around place to place. So Griffin has a plan and they have to use it and hope it works. Later in the book he gets in a lot of trouble because he gets blamed for stealing the card and he swears he didn’t and he didn’t steal it but they just believe what everyone else says. In the end he doesn’t get in trouble and also doesn’t get the card and that’s how it ended.
My favorite part in this book was when Griffin is in the interview with the police man Vizzini and it turns out Vizzini is wrong for the first time ever. I reccomend this to people who like a lot of action and a bunch of craziness.
Paintball

By: Nick C. Paintball is about Nick and some friends playing paintball. after a few rounds Nicks team was losing and Nick and his team trying to make a come back. The last 3 rounds Nicks team one, it was all up to the last round to break the tie. Nicks team won, so they won 6 games to 5.
